The first of a seven part miniseries of a reimagined origin tale featuring the characters from Dracula, Frankenstein, the Invisible Man, and other famous figures in Gothic lit.

In this issue, wanted fugitive Frankenstein invades a grizzly murder scene in a local German village and is later visited by a mysterious stranger in his secret lab; Abraham van Helsing goes to midnight mass but discovers something more when he heads inside the cathedral; Dr. Herbert Ward Griffin, dressed in gauze, visits an aristocratic family in the dead winter London night to sell them something they can't refuse.
